Getting playback error “There was an unexpected error during playback” on all movies when trying to view them locally. this is a recent change they were working fine a few days ago. Tried updating the server still having issues. any ideas?
No one has any suggestions? Playback through other devices (tivo, PS4) works fine but local playback on either the windows box with firefox get “playback error if problem continues contact support”
Found the issue, it was “Adblocker Ultimate” plug-in in firefox.

I have the same issue using Firefox. I do not see any adblockers installed to manipulate. Chrome works fine. This is new here as well, all was working fine last week.
It started happening again, this time it was “HTTPS Everywhere” blocking it as the connection is not secure only HTTP. So you will have to allow the plex connection without any security checks. It’s now working again for me.
I got it working. I had to turn off ‘enhanced tracking’ for the plex page. While the error occurs (recreate the error), click the little Blocking Tracker icon up by the url and I had the option to turn off tracking for the plex page.
