Hi everyone!
I’ve been using Plex on PS4 for a few years now, and everything up until this point was working perfectly fine. I booted up the app today but I can’t seem to play anything. The moment I click on a show or a movie I get “There was an unexpected error. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems.”
I’m really not sure what the issue is. As I said, everything was working perfectly fine before. Is anyone else experiencing this? and is there any way to fix it?
Was having the same problem. Got it to work by updating the PLEX on my computer as well. Hopefully it keeps working.
I’m having same issue on xbox one. Uninstalled and reinstalled so but still getting the same message. Looking for a fix as well…
Same problem. All working fine until the 1.05 ps4 update. Updated the server which solved the problem.
same here. plex works on all my other computers, tablets, and phones just fine. just the ps4 pro not working after plex asked me to sign in with remote link code. after i did the remote link code the whole user interface changed and nothing will play and i get “There was an unexpected error. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems.”
same here Xbox one. all other platforms work.
Still getting the same thing here too! Updated my server and no dice. I’m going to try uninstalling and re-installing plex on the server and seeing if that works.
I’m having this problem as well… Has anyone found a solution? I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app,
I had to manually update. The update button in the settings menu was grayed out. I downloaded from the site and manually installed. The app started working on the PS4 immediately.
I have same problem, on xbox OK, on PC OK, on PS4 KO, i manually install update on my PC and after PS4 working OK
