Not in Plex’s database when I try to scrape the metadata for it, despite it appearing here: https://watch.plex.tv/show/the-three-stooges Please fix.
Looking at tvdb this show has a link to a removed entry at tmdb which could be part of the problem.
However, also looking at this thread Missing TV series three stooges page - Talk — The Movie Database (TMDB) it appears tmdb lists these as movies and not a show as they original aired theatrically.
I’d start my removing the link to tmdb in tvdb, would do it myself but don’t have an account at tvdb. Might also need someone from the plex metadata team to take a look. This could be one of those complex shows in plex due to how tvdb and tmdb classify it.

Thanks for looking into it and trying what you did. It’s strange, as I have never had a problem previously with scraping metadata for the large number of TV shows I have. Many of the specials are indeed films that I have scraped as such, but everything else is from the original TV shows.
Already tried that and nothing changes. Thanks for responding, though.

Always a pain when TMDB & TVDB disagree on how to list things.
I deleted the dead links at TVDB. Plex should pick that up in 24 - 48 hours.
Adding the TVDB ID and specifically picking TVDB Aired worked on my server.
To list as movies, could probably add the TMDB ID and choose TMDB ordering.

Thanks for looking further into this. I’ll refresh my metadata periodically to see if Plex indeed does update it to reflect the accurate theTVDB.com information it doesn’t currently link to.
You might Plex Dance the entire show. That will remove the current info from your server’s database and force it to reanalyze the files.
I got an immediate match on my servers.
I may very well have to if I can’t get the metadata imported. Thanks again for all your help!
I did everything suggested, yet still cannot get this show recognized, frustratingly. Plex metadata scraping definitely has something missing here causing the issue.
Finally managed to get the show recognized by having to delete the date within the details window when looking at media information, then saving it, and rescanning metadata. This forced it to then populate correctly, thankfully.
