TheTVDB scanner unable to find series even when given TVDB id

When searching for metadata, the TVDB scanner seems to be unable to find the actual metadata for the show Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood despite matching with the TVDB id.

To me, it looks like the scanner is working, but whatever API endpoint it’s hitting just doesn’t have the show’s information on it for some reason. To confirm this, I looked up the show on theTVDB’s website and confirmed that it was using the same id: https://thetvdb.com/series/fullmetal-alchemist-brotherhood. This is the only series that TheTVDB scanner has had this kind of error with so far, and I’m at a loss for what to do.

Fix Match/Search Options/Agent:
Try TMDB - it has a listing:

You may come back to TVDB at some point for this show, but this might work in the interim.

my plex is not matching from tvdb and i tried alot of troubleshooting , can someone help

Neither the TVBD ID or the Movie Database ID match functions work. I can find the show at those locations input the ID in the search field and it comes back no match. every single time. This has been an ongoing issue for years. Any fix in sight…
