If I change the season poster to the correct one, I get a blank poster frame. The current tv show seasons are available to select, yet none are displayed. (most recent update of PMS, deleted pulp-in support caches and metadata bundles, and also did a full metadata refresh.)

Unrelated issue? Now I’m not getting any metadata at all. No text or anything, not just missing posters. “Episode 8” and similar instead of TVDB information.

(Please note, these are properly named files and such, but it seems like the typical TVDB outage that happens frequently.)
It was working perfectly for me about 30 minutes ago, now it’s full of:

@ChuckPa: The issues I was having post-2058 update were fixed use @connor_greene’s fix in his thread (now unlisted).

This has caused a real mess with my automation, and explain why some times it wont match things correctly… I use the year in all my titles for both movies and TV shows since there are so many remake.

- Rearranged the Agents in the Agents-Settings
- Whitelisted TheTVDB on Network (just to be sure)
- Rebtooted the whole unRaid instance
- Checked the official Topic in Plexforum

Finally getting around to ripping seasons 5 - 9 of Seinfeld and Plex is not pulling in any metadata for any of the newly added episodes. Same setup as I have for seasons 1 - 4 which I ripped a couple of years ago and have metadata correctly setup. Will post logs after I complete the ripping process as right now they’re just filled with junk from that. Tried both TVDB and TMDB and I am not getting any metadata at all for the newly ripped episodes (just says Episode 1, 2 etc in Plex). My environment is PMS on Ubuntu 18.04
Using the default agent for the TV library section, I created new.
PMS 1.18.3.2175
Building this entirely new library section (I frequently delete and rebuild for testing) required about 25 minutes for some 11,300 episodes over my slow 40 Mbps internet.

For me it’s still not working. Nor with my new PMS (Windows, Version 1.18.4.2171), neither with my old one (NVidia Shield TV, Version 1.18.4.2171).
The old PMS had successfully tagged over 30 series.
For testing, I have put one of the tagged series into a new library.

The pasted log fragment shows the file naming is not correct for some reason.
series?name= should never return Season+01 bad structure here somewhere.
Did you add another top level directory but go one level too deep by accident?
Yes, it was one directory too deep.
And it was on purpose in order to test it with only one series…
But this was the crucial clue.
My files are /somepath/series/“age rating”/Name of the TV Show/Season 01/…
I only choosed the path “/somepath/series/” as library path. It works with the movies agent, but not with the tv agent.
Now selected multiple paths including the “age rating” part in library definition.

So I’ve moved from windows to ubuntu 18.04.3 and since then tvdb posters isn’t working anymore.
Movie posters are loading fine.
I’ve reset permissions correctly.
Removed the folder:
/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Caches/com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb/
and tried refreshing meta but no success
