I can’t get even 720p movies to play on my tv or PS5 anymore. I even tried it at a friend’s house so I know it isn’t my tv/console.

did you disable transcoding on your server? that error means the app asked the server to transcode but it can’t or was told not to
How can I did that on the PS5 app? I have heard transcoding is an issue, but I can’t find the option to transcode anywhere. How do I do that?
It’s in your server’s transcoder settings not the player app
My transcoder option is set to automatic, with unlimited simultaneous transcode.
Is that what’s causing the problem? If so, what should it be?
they are server setting. I’m just asking if you have this checked on your server. I have no idea what the problem is yet it is just one possibility. If you did not check that to disable transcoding then likely need to see server logs and app logs to try to determine 1. why it decided to transcode 2. why it can’t transcode

oh, I see now. It was disabled. I changed it and now it works on everything. Thank you so much. Sorry it took me a minute to get. I really appreciate it.
