This version of the web app requires Plex Media Server 1.3.0 or higher.

What the hell is that stupid ■■■■? Forcing Upgrade on users like that is unacceptable!

Is there a particular reason you do not wish to use PMS version 1.3.0 or higher?
PMS 1.3.0 was released back in Nov of last year.

You can continue to access your server by it’s IP address instead of through plex.tv and this will allow you to continue to use what ever version you are currently clinging to

Several, but main reasons : Synology and version 1.x of pms was not good. Also version 1.3 was not avail. for upgrade in dsm, until now.

My server OS doesn’t support the upgrade. Still running Windows 2008 Server.

I downloaded the proper version of Plex 1.4 and it will not work on my QNAP. I have also noticed in the updated web app that activity monitor is not working properly. Anyone else notice this? If a stream starts it will not show up under activity, etc. I had to go back to Plex 1.3 on my QNAP to get it working again.

Wil plex be updating the version in the asustor application store as well, or should I start venturing in the try a manual update waters?

What about the Nvidia Shield? The server is ‘Up to date’, but still pre 1.0… Pretty annoying not being able to use app.plex.tv.

Incorrect. Go to the Play store, search for Plex and install the latest from there. You can read more about Plex server on the Shield over here - http://forums.plex.tv/categories/nvidia-shield

Used the newest version of pled to update my version on my asustor, worked perfectly. I’m all aboard the manual update train now.
