If you’re removing support for OS versions… maybe check that the OS you’re running on, is supported in the update BEFORE proceeding to install… that might be smart… and save me hours of hassle rolling back my headless Mac Mini server
Did you run into this by manually installing the new version or some automatic update?
The auto-update should not install versions not supported on your OS. If you manually replace the app, there’s very little or nothing Plex can do about it.
That being said… PMS on macOS keeps the previous 3(?) upgrades on your system which can be used to rollback relatively easy:
~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Updates/
It came as an auto-update
Did you click on the update from a player app like on your TV or via the web app? If you have them would you mind sharing your server logs. It should not have offered you it and would like to get logs to dev team.

Sorry for the delay - I couldnt capture logs because after reverting and getting everything working again the issue didnt happen again. Luckily, there was a new update so the notification is back with another incompatible version
