Thumbnails are upside down.

Hi,

 

This past weekend I took some video of my kids with my iPhone. I copied the video directly from the iPhone to the Home Movies folder in PMS.

 

I then wanted to show everyone what we had done that day. I selected the Home Movies library and found that all the thumbnails, for the videos I had taken, were all upside down. When I play the associated video it plays with the correct orientation.

 

Does anyone have a tip as to how I can avoid the upside down thumbnails? Is there another setting in PMS that I haven't found yet?

That would be better than me standing on my head to film the video.

Do they show correctly in PHT or Plex Web? What PMS are you on? There are issues with EXIF info not being read but I thought this had been fixed in the newer PMS’s.

I'm using PMS 0.9.8.18. The thumbnails are upside down in Plex Web. It's probably an issue with the way PMS is extracting it's thumbnail from the video and ignoring the orientation.

I'll head over to the Plex Forums and ask around.
