browsing shows by ‘first aired’, the data is filling but with the exception of the shown thumbnail, all others are blank. i have tried refreshing the guide manually to no avail. this is what it looks like before dec 9:

I’m seeing the same issue.

It appears that some thumbnails are appearing now that were previously blank.

ya seems good-ish now. the 3 in-a-row blanks are all ABC programming so i thought all but ABC was fixed but then the last blank is CW and there are both ABC and CW that have pictures filled in that were previously blank so i have no idea. gonna leave it be. thanks for confirming i wasn’t crazy in the meantime tho @Mike_TV

@ala1 Seeing a few blanks ones on the CW as well still today. I’ve posted questions or problems here in the forums before without much traction. Just wanted to let you know I saw the same issue but didn’t have a fix unfortunately. Was hoping someone saw it that knew the issue.

Don’t quote me on this since I don’t know 100% how this all works, but I think a lot of it is temp failed DNS lookups/bad caches. Once the caches expire and clear, then lookups happen again and hopefully success.

Sometimes when I try to think about all the bits and pieces of hardware that have to talk to each and all the various software that has to interact with each other, it amazes me any of this stuff works at all, lol!

That is why the logs are requested so we don’t have to sit and guess at the many possible causes.

Start with the epg database, shut down Plex and remove or move to a backup area the tv.plex.providers.epg*.db-wal, tv.plex.providers.epg*.db-shm, tv.plex.providers.epg*.db.

When you restart Plex the epg will download and build new removing any corruption that might exist internally. If that doesn’t do it and DNS is working, then your blobs db is suspect.
