Thumbnails won't generate at scheduled task?

Per the title, I can’t seem to get thumbnails for (ff/rw preview) to generate via a scheduled task. It will generate when the Settings -> Library -> Generate video preview thumbnails is set to “as a scheduled task and when media is added” but then it immediately pegs the CPU after things have been imported or recorded.

I would much rather have them generate at night when no one is using the system. The scheduled task hours are currently set between 2 AM and 7 AM and nothing appears to be happening during that time.

I can manually make Plex start generating the thumbnails by “Analyzing” the media files or libraries but I don’t want to do that manually every time I add a new piece of media. I have confirmed that “Enable video preview thumbnails” is enabled in the library settings as well. Any thoughts?

I updated to the latest version and thumbnails started generating… who knows!
