I have been adding music manually to my library, along with adding albums from Tidal, utilizing the “Add to Music” feature. The issue that I am finding - when I search and play a Tidal album directly from within Plex - everything looks and works fine. When I add them to my library - I have a significant number of Albums that have all of the tracks mis-assigned with other track names within the album. All the tracks are there - but they are all scrambled with the wrong track titles matched to the wrong tracks. I’ve seen this for about 10% of the albums that I’ve added. For testing purposes, one album this consistently happens to is “The Essential Michael Jackson”. I have many other examples - but this is a good one to start with. Another is “The Walt Disney Records Legacy Collection: Disneyland”. This is driving me nuts. I’ve tried manually re-matching the albums - hoping that this might fix it. It does not. Unmatching, rematching, etc. does not seem to work. Why can’t plex just accept the metadata from Tidal - and not mess it up?
