Tidal - Part of content is missing

I have noticed a strange behavior with the tidal integration while using the plex.tv web app. I tried looking up a couple of artists only to notice that some of their albums where incomplete. For instance, Delta Heavy - Paradise Lost is an album that only shows the first two songs in plex but all 15 on the tidal website.

Even weirder is that trying to play the album will load up all songs in the player and they will play! Here’s a screenshot that shows this in action. This is just plain searching for the album in the tidal library. I do not have songs from them in my own libraries.

Here’s the equivalent album from their own player:

I am seeing the same issue from the iOS plex app. Any idea of what might be causing this?

Thanks for reporting this! I’m forwarding this along to the correct team member.

Cool thanks! Just as an additional FYI, you can actually lookup the individual songs via the search bar. If you search for “delta heavy city of dreams” you will find the song. You can also play it from there but clicking on the cover also brings to the same two songs album I have shown in my previous post.

Just a quick update, this album should show correctly now. Thanks again for reporting this!

I just tested it and it works as expected now. Case closed!

Hi, I’m having the same issue (as of today) using the Web App to access TIDAL content.

While I’ve noticed several bands which had albums which appeared empty in Plex, the worst offender is when I searched for “The Strokes”. I can confirm through the TIDAL app that the discography for The Strokes is relatively intact, but none of the albums will shown when searching through the Plex web app.

Search in Plex:

Search in TIDAL:

I can provide additional information as needed.

Thanks for reporting - the team is trying to track down why this is happening.
