I would like to transfer my family Tidal plan to Plex.
I see posts online (Reddit) that explain this is possible except only the main account holder can access through Plex, which would be an acceptable solution for me.
But on Plex website it seems to indicate that transferring my subscription would change it to a single subscriber plan.
Can I get confirmation? Is there any way to add a Tidal family subscription to my Plex account?
You can’t transfer a family plan to Plex (i.e. can’t manage billing via Plex), but each member of the family plan can link their Tidal account to their Plex account following the “Link to an Existing TIDAL Subscription for Access” instructions. Each person would need their own full Plex account, not be managed accounts under your main account.
What about TIDAL “Family” plans?
We are not currently able to offer “Family HiFi” or “Family HiFi Plus” TIDAL plans, sorry. If you already have such a plan through TIDAL, you can link to a different Plex account for each of the available TIDAL members. See the information earlier about linking to an existing TIDAL subscription for access.
