This was working until I started to muck around with the linked account, but it seems that I am no longer able to play full songs via TIDAL? Also on a side note, given I have a TIDAL subscription via PLEX, am I also able to use the TIDAL app as well, or no?
I tried unlinking and relinking the account to try and be able to log into the Tidal app, which then caused Plex to now only allow for limited preview and the same is true for the Tidal app now that I can log in. I have tried unlinking and relinking the account a few times after that, also re-authorizing the account and nothing has changed. Tidal says I have no subscription and would like me to sign up in the app, and Plex says I have no subscription when pulling up the TIDAL section.
The last action you did was to remove the Tidal link.
Then you added the Apple authentication. Then you ran into an automatic IP block, due to too many consecutive actions.
So currently, you have indeed no link to the tidal account.
The IP block should be cleared by now.
Repeat the procedure from above. Do only this, only once – slowly.
Then let it sit for several minutes before you reboot the client(s).
This is a cloud-based service. All changes need some time to propagate.
Changing too many things too often/fast
Followed the above steps again, taking a break between each step. At this point, TIDAL still shows that I have no subscription and I only have previews.
Never found a solution, ended up having to cancel TIDAL and denied a refund for something that clearly didn’t work right. Went back to Spotify, which you know, works?
I did reach out to TIDAL support at one point as well, who told me there was nothing they could do as it was something on the PLEX side. So I would guess it’s something between the two services that is causing the issue.
I don’t fully remember, but I think I had signed up for an account with TIDAL and then did the plex thing. It worked for like a day or two and then went into the preview mode, where it wouldn’t work on TIDAL or Plex.
