Tidal subscription shows inactive despite account being linked. no music for 2 weeks please help!

Hello all! hopefully I can get some assistance. I have the plex with Tidal Hifi bundle. Was working without issue until about 2 weeks ago. My Tidal is now showing that it does not have an active subscription and will not play. in plex it only plays 30 second previews. I have deactivated and reactivated the plex/tidal subscription and removed and reactivated the link for tidal multiple times at this point. I have also manually deactivated and reactivated music in online media sources and rebooted the plex server on multiple occasions. The account show slinked and the subscription is active but Tidal still states that there is no active subscription and will not play. Additionally my saved music does not show in plex. other functions of plex are working without issue. Please advise if there are any other troubleshooting steps I can take or Investigate why this is happening.

What client are you using? Can you provide logs from that client after trying to use Tidal?

I am using Tidal on android and windows

was not able to generate a log on android, but was on windows. most recent events should show log out/in and a attempt to play

That is the actual Tidal app, not a Plex app. If you are having trouble with a Tidal app, you should contact Tidal directly. I can’t say what their app is suppose to be doing.

It is not showing as active on plex either. It does not show my music and I cannot play via plex on any device

I’ll need the log from when you use the Plex app.

If you are using Chrome then that is the Plex Web client. I’ll need the log from that. Plex Web App Logs | Plex Support

I have also already reached out to tidal support who advised me to reach out to you. Can you let me know how to generate the needed logs from Chrome?

here is the webapp log. I unlinked and relinked the tidal account and attempted to play again

I’m not seeing any playback information in your log. Forget doing all those other things.

  • enable logging
  • go to tidal section
  • play any song
  • let it play until it stops
  • retrieve the log

Attached it is only playing the 30 second previews so I let a few run.

Any update on this by any chance? Its almost been a month time where I have not had access to tidal music despite having paid for it

Also, this is an issue I have faced in the past and a combination of those steps posted worked. Also, you can attempt to sign out of the web client before and after those steps.

There is another thread I’m currently searching for that might help you out as well. When I find it, I’ll edit this post with it.

I have tried deactivating and reactivating and disable/re-enable online media. I also changed my tidal PW
did these steps:
1.) Launch Plex from Web Browser
2.) Un-authorize all affected devices. In my case, I just did all the devices I had authorized. There weren’t too many and I was sick of dealing with this problem.
3.) Deleted Plex from android phone
4.) Un-Linked Tidal From My Plex Account
5.) Logged into Tidal Website and browsed to Offline Devices and cleared any and all devices in that list (this was blank)
6.) Went back to Plex and Re-Linked / Authorized Tidal with Plex
7.) Waited 15 minutes

still no dice
