Titles hang in Now Playing with no stop option

Server Version#: 1.20.0.3125
Platform: SHIELD TV Pro 2019

I recently started having an issue where if I play a title, show, even a trailer from roku or plex web and stop the playback the title continues to show playing in the “Plex—Dashboard” under “Now Playing.” Once that hangs it will show there indefinitely until I reboot the shield and there is no option to stop it. Even in Tautulli does not give the option to stop playback.

Any ideas, after searching the forums I couldn’t find any others with similar issues.

Figured it out. For anyone else, I dug through the logs and saw a bunch of database corruption errors.

SQLITE3:0x7fffffff, 11, database corruption at line

Followed these instructions and was good to go.

My Shield server developed this problem right after I enabled the DVR and live TV. My recordings folder was read-only. I’m not sure if that was related to the corruption or not, but I couldn’t recover the database and had to use a backup from a week prior to the DVR being enabled.
