Recently (but I can not pin it down to a version change or a server change), any new movie (but not show so far) will find a proper match but the server will not show a poster. I tried optimizing the DB and so on but I cannot affect this no matter what I do. Any thoughts on this? I have run Plex for years and not had this.
When you edit the movie, do you see poster motives for selection on the Poster tab? Or is the list empty?
Did you move the location of the Plex data folder onto a storage volume which is either
No it shows them in the edit or fix match. It’s selecting the correct title and it pulls the poster it just does not select it.
The another to all 3 questions is no. The media is on a NAS but the Plex install is just on a typical SSD.
Also, if I manually select the correct poster it will show.
Do you have one of these settings activated in the properties of your library?
If so, disable them both.
Verify that “Scanner” and “Agent” are set to “Plex Movie”.
OK I think some of that is the case. I am checking and refreshing now. I will report back shortly. Thank you for your help.

The “Use Local Assets” was the issue but that’s a little odd because I have not touched those settings unless a recently upgrade did.
