I had to reinstall my whole Plex Server I run on my Synology (DS415play; Intel Evansport). After this I had to correct or match over three third of my movie collection.
Over 90% of this action (match or correct), the movie name is quite correctely recognized apart from the word 'german' at the end of the movie name. This language tag in the file name keeps the agent from finding the correct movie title from e.g. The Movie Database, because the tag is in the search query.
My suggestion:
- Please ignore language tags in scanned file names. Maybe in a second search after a normal search gives no results.
- Please try to ignore tags that goes together with the language selection (in my case 'german')
- As a suggestion, maybe it's possible to interprete tags with language names to select search language. So it's more convenient to the users with different language versions
