Some movies have wrong year in metadata.
Using tmdb, as example, the goonies appears as a 2019 movie. On imdb it’s ok, but plex shows wrong year. Even refreshing metadata will not work.
Any idea about how to fix it?
I just double-checked and it worked ok for me (tested for English and German versions).
What language/country have you set for this library of yours?

Spanish language. There are many movies with 2019 as release year 
Looks like you have some work to do - when you sign up.
(I love deleting that stuff - you will too)
(Note: when you add/change something it will be 24 hours before it’s available. ‘Refresh Metadata’ might change it. ‘Fix Match’ might change it. The Plex Dance will absolutely change it.)

Although on the website they show the right airing date, inside somebody decided to air “partial limited airing” whatever, on 2019. So I visited them and deleted all those “partial limited airing”.
I guess they decided to showcase them on a local cinema or something and some guy decided to add that, messing everything on tmdb…
