Quite upset with the Plex media server recording TV shows. Tonight was the premiere of a TV show that aired today. When I went into recordings it showed it said no upcoming airings however it showed a little 3 white dot circles with a red background which I always thought meant recording.
Then proceeded to go into advanced and it said cancel recording which I did not click.
There was cancel recording and save. I just left it default.
When I went into guide it showed recording with how much time was left. Again there was cancel recording. Which I did not click.
I kept looking in the guide and it said recording. While looking at the HDD it shows the HDD is running.
As I went into the tv shows I do not see the new recording which made me very annoyed. And why the heck it said there was no airings when clearly there was a new season.
It doesn’t make sense. You guys really need to fix this. There was no where that said anything there was a conflict. There was no where is started weather or not it really was recording or wasn’t. Either it was or it wasn’t. I shouldn’t have to look all over to find out if it recording or wasn’t.
You need to better inform the end user if it is or isn’t going to record. Shouldn’t have to have one area says it is and the other section says it isn’t and then top of it all upcoming shouldn’t say no airings when clearly there was.
There was no conflict with times. It’s on the same times as last year. 2019 it recorded but 2020?? Same times??? Makes no sense. You really need to fix this issue. The show was never canceled or changed. Times and days were all the same.
So what was the issue and how are you going to fix this problem.
I’ve never had issues with Plex until now. It’s either a bug or Plex just had issue. No way to get the episode but to late to do anything. But am annoyed the fact 2 areas said different things and neither of which told me what’s really going to happen.
But whatever. What’s done is done. Not a happy camper at all. Quite upset and disappointed none the less.
