Uninstall the Plex app (KEEP option)

Install package again.

Use “Plex Claim Token” option.

  • Get Token from Plex.tv
  • Paste into small window on Installer menu
  • “NEXT” until it installs
  • Allow to finish and confirm.

I hope you are seeing all prompts in Chinese ? ( CHT or CHS )

Are you using a VPN or a Proxy?

Is the Synology there with you or is it remote ?

If it is remote, is this the Proxy (or do you mean VPN) you use to access it ?

The Plex installer and Plex Claim Token method will work with a VPN to claim your server because the VPN will support bi-directional traffic to & from Plex.tv . A Proxy will not.

Please help us understand the arrangement here?

There is some serious misunderstanding.

  1. You should not be injecting anything between you and the PMS server on the local network. You are begging to cause trouble (which you seem to have).

  2. Can you now download the logs ZIP file for me and attach it?

You are correct that I’ve heard mainland China is blocked for Plex.

A VPN will work because of how the VPN works.
A VPN creates a tunnel for the raw traffic to flow – without interpretation.

A Proxy interprets what it receives and attempts to generate something else on the other end. It is not a direct connection.

PMS does not tolerate an intermediate connection such as a proxy UNLESS you own the proxy AND it’s on your LAN with your Plex token installed into it.

目前将synology从代理中移除，直接连接互联网后，服务器声明正常了，电视剧等资源的元数据匹配方面我此前有经验，我明白文件名称年份包括权限之类的都会影响元数据的匹配。目前已经解决了电视剧元数据匹配的问题。
