Tosh.0 Not Importing

I am trying to import some Tosh.0 episodes into Plex, but cannot seem to get it working. I have quite a few other shows already on the server with no issues, so I am thinking it is a naming issue because of the period in the title. I have tried naming the folder “Tosh.0” “Tosh.O” “Tosh” “Tosh .O” “Tosh .0” “Tosh 0” and “Tosh Point 0”. None of these worked.

In the meantime I have added some more episodes of a different show and they showed up just fine.

Any ideas here?

Just made a test using

/Testseries
   /Tosh.0
      /Season 08
         Tosh.0 - S08E17 - Three Cheese.mp4

and got instant metadata.

It was the naming of the shows. They were named Tosh.0 - [01x01] - Afro Ninja and as soon as I changed it to s01e01 they started showing up. I knew it was going to be something easy I missed.

A program called FileBot is infinitely valuable for renaming several files in a way that Plex will understand them. :slight_smile:

Or TVRename, Tiny Media Manager, tvmv, etc.

I think anything in brackets is ignored, right? Isn’t that the sanctioned way to put notes in a filename?
