hi guys
im writing this for a friend whos having problems with streaming to his Toshiba 46TL900A.
he says it cant install any apps but has the standard FB, twitter crap built in.
config: ok he has 3 windows machines running in his house. 1 laptop, 1 touchscreen all-in-one and a PC.
all 3 have sharing on the media folders, the laptop, touch appear on the tv, when he shares something from the C: of the PC it works, but the Slave drive on the PC that has the bulk of his library wont appear.
this is all just via windows sharing i know. my question is "will the PLEX server SW appear in the list of devices as a DLNA device instead of a shared folder from windows?"
also (and this would be even better) "is there a way to install the PLEX app onto the Toshiba 46TL900A Smart TV?"
any help would be awesome
