Total time of downloaded playlist

I have my loved tracks playlist downloaded to Plexamp.

I noticed this evening that, whilst the number of tracks downloaded is the same as the number on the playlist, the total play time differs. In the playlists view it shows as 4h17m. In the downloads view it shows as 3h24m. That’s quite a difference!

What would account for that? Does it discount tracks already downloaded via other playlists or albums? Or is this a bug?

It doesn’t affect my use of the app, but is a bit confusing.

So, to me it’s always been a bug. I just haven’t been vocal about it until now because the chances of it being solved… could take a while.

Which is exactly why you nor I should expect any miracles that this will get looked at.

Suggestion: have a better attitude! see that glass as half full!

We’ve had a few accounting issues with time and storage with downloads, and have fixed a few of them over the years. In most cases it should “repair” itself when the offline playlist is refreshed. Have you tried that, and does it make a difference? If not, please post Plexamp logs right after the refresh.

Hi @elan, thanks for your reply.

Refreshing the playlist doesn’t fix this so I’ve attached logs. Hope this helps.

And sorry, what is the playlist in question’s name?

Hi again. It’s the ‘ Tracks’ playlist that Plex creates for all music libraries.
