As shown, every so often (like 0-10% of the time) Plex will import music albums using ‘plex music’ scanner and fail to get a title. All other information is imported correctly and playback with or without title is unaffected. I don’t have any logs as it’s hard to reproduce this, but AFAIK it either occurs on the whole album or not at all (like the scanner just gives up). Refresh metadata fixes this issue, so the assumption here is that this issue occurs only when the scanning process hangs or ends abruptly.
I was able to replicate this issue by placing an identical set of tracks in a different folder and importing both at the same time. Duplicates here were not created but the issue occurred. This was NOT the cause of this issue other times, but may lead to positive investigation. This happens both on small and large quantity imports as well.
