I made some research, but I really can’t find recent information about this feature.
I would like to have a button on every movie page to launch the specific trailer of this movie, so I can choose if I’m interested in loking it tonight. not a bunch of random trailers.
I found some infos about plugins, like theatretrailers, but it seems really complicated to install (python, pip , youtube dl etc…)
Is it a feature available? easily available…

Plex can be configured to lookup trailers for your movies/shows (if available) and it’ll make those available on a movie’s details screen. Keep in mind that the automatic search/addition of such online extras requires a Plex Pass membership.

It’s also possible to add your own local extras (incl. trailers).
I don’t think Plex is supporting those old plugins at this point of time.

Yeah, it’s not really a fancy feature, but getting “extras” included with most of your own media does require a plex pass.
If you don’t mind a few extra steps, you can search the exact same movie in Plex’s “Discover” feature to see a trailer.
