You need to correct the ip from your pms server (ip_pms).

Your ATV model (2 or 3) and firmware version (found under the ATV settings > general > about > Apple TV software):ATV3, 6.1The DNS server set on the ATV (found under the ATV settings > general > network > DNS):192.168.1.102The device and operating system (including version number) that PlexConnect is installed on:PC, Win7 64bitThe local IP address of the device that PlexConnect is installed on:192.168.1.102The device and operating system (including version number) that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:192.168.1.102, Win7 64bitThe Plex media server (PMS) version number you are running (**do not put 'latest'**):0.9.8.6The local IP address of the device that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:192.168.1.102The PlexConnect version number.downloaded 4.10.13, ~10 p.mThe content of your 'Settings.cfg' file[PlexConnect]enable_webserver_ssl = Truelogpath = .enable_dnsserver = Trueprevent_atv_update = Trueport_dnsserver = 53enable_plexconnect_autodetect = Trueport_pms = 32400port_webserver = 80ip_plexconnect = 0.0.0.0certfile = C:/PlexConnect-master/assets/certificates/trailers.pemip_dnsmaster = 8.8.8.8loglevel = Highip_pms = 192.168.102enable_plexgdm = Falseport_ssl = 443A description of the issuetrailers not available...try again later (at least it now shows up immediately after clicking on "trailers", before now it always took a while to do soEnsure you post your 'PlexConnect.log' file to pastebinIt`s odd that i had to insert always the very same ip-adresses. (...1.102)on my laptop i installed pms, python, plexconnect and on my atv i only edited the dns-settings-thing (autom. -> manual. (IP: 192.168.1.102) (from cmd/ipconfig the adress of ip4...)Thanks for your help! Greetings from Germany
thanks a lot for the quick responding. the pms adress is the local ip of my laptop where plexmedia is installed on, isn`t it?
or should it be the public ip of the laptop? how can i find out that pms ip?
sorry for the incredible noobieness...
further "intel":
my laptop`s ip is 192.168.1.102.
(inserted in atv under networksettings, set to manually)
my default gateway is 192.168.1.2
(also the automatical ip on atv which i deleted in favor of the ip of my laptop)
why does my log show an 1.101 over and over again?
also detected a difference between my log and working others:
mine shows
while others are showing
Enderler was referring to your settings.cfg as it has this setting;
ip_pms = 192.168.102
It should be
ip_pms = 192.168.1.102
ooha, human error off and on...thx! changed it back: still the notavailable-error
it works now after i reinstalled the certificate, thanks for the quick help!
edit:
after i finally entered the plexapp via trailers, it now shows "no response from plex media server" when i click on apple movie trailers.
(renewed link)
especially this in the end looks really bad but simple to solve
