Hi
I just cant get it to work, my apple TV 3 is always telling me that the Trailer is not available and i should try later.
I have a Win 7 with the latest PMS and The latest PleXConnect File
here is the log from python, does anyone have the same problem or solved this one?

You did not put your trailers.pem in C:\Users\uiop09876\Desktop\Plex\PlexConnect-master\PlexConnect-master\./assets/certificates/
Your certfile path in settings.cfg looks like it is the problem. Just revert back to the default path “.assets/certificates/trailers.pem” and make sure the trailers.pem is in the correct place.
Where do i get the Trailers.pm from ? i cant finde the file. under the folder certificates the only file is a certificates.txt

Certificates.txt is a TEXT file. It can be opened:
certificates
(Mac)
- required: Apple Configurator or iPhone Configuration Utility
- openssl req -new -nodes -newkey rsa:2048 -out trailers.pem -keyout trailers.key -x509 -days 365 -subj "/C=US/CN=trailers.apple.com"
- openssl x509 -in trailers.pem -outform der -out trailers.cer && cat trailers.key >> trailers.pem
- create aTV profile
- install aTV profile (micro USB)
(Win)
- required: OpenSSL - http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
- required: iPhone Configuration Utility
- openssl.exe req -new -nodes -newkey rsa:2048 -out trailers.pem -keyout trailers.key -x509 -days 365 -subj "/C=US/CN=trailers.apple.com" -config openssl.cfg
- openssl.exe x509 -in trailers.pem -outform der -out trailers.der
- type trailers.key >> trailers.pem
- create aTV profile
- install aTV profile (micro USB)
Thanks to Paul Kehrer (reaperhulk, http://langui.sh/2013/08/27/appletv-ssl-plexconnect/ ) for all his help!
do you think this will be included in the further updated of plexconnect ? if i understand this correctly everyone with the latest version of ATV now has to follow these rather complicated steps right ?

Short:
No. Yes.
Longer:
There will never be a certificate added to the source code. This thing has to stay private - you don't want to have your private key leaking around all over the internet, do you?
Everyone has to create his own private certificate - you want your aTV trust your own server, no one else, right? Also, it needs to be installed on the aTV using the rather cumbersome "mini USB" solution. For the first installation, we don't know a way around that.
It’s not that hard. Give it a shot.
