Hey everyone. So trailer park boys has their original black and white 1999 movie, then a movie that is trailer park boys the movie in 2006. I have the original movie titled “Trailer Park Boys (1999)”. However the meta data that shows up for it shows the 2006 film. How do I add both films and have it know the right one?
This matches correctly for me:

Edit: If you change file/directory names, then Plex Dance the movies. This clears out (possibly incorrect) metadata from Plex’s internal database and forces Plex to re-download metadata for the movies.
If your files are MP4, they might have incorrect embedded metadata.
If you are using the new Plex Movie agent, then edit the library, choose Advanced, deselect Prefer Local Metadata, and save changes. Then refresh the metadata for the library.
If using the Plex Movie (Legacy) agent, then go to Settings -> Server -> Agents -> Movies. In Plex Movie (Legacy) and The Movie Database sections, drag Local Media Assets (Movies) to the bottom of the list. Then refresh the metadata for the library.
