Anyone know how to resolve port 80 issue?
Here’s my logfile:
22:22:21 WebServer: started: 22:22:21
22:22:21 WebServer: Failed to connect to HTTP on 192.168.0.60 port 80: [Errno 10013] An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions
I had OS X Server running Wiki, but shut it down hoping it would resolve my port 80 issue and open it up. No luck.
you need to check what is using the port, (as you said OS X Server is most likely the issue) once you determine that you need to clear the port.
I shutdown my OS X Server’s Wiki site hoping it would resolve it, but no luck. What else could be using it?
In the server app there is a way to disable the WebServer option. Not sure if this is what you tried prior.
After manually disabling Apache from my OS X Server (http://www.maxum.com/Rumpus/Blog/OSXServer.html), I did a port scan and it finally shows port 80 closed. Unfortunately, I still get the same Errno 10013 error. Any suggestions? Is it correct to assume this “Errno 10013” is the reason why my Trailer app on my ATV states trailers are unavailable?
Update: I changed the port (to 8080) in the settings.cfg file of the PlexConnect root folder. This resolved my “Errno 10013” error, but did not fix my Trailer app issue. It still says “Trailer is unavailable. Try again later.”
Any suggestions?
If you change the port from 80 you need to follow the advanced setup guide to put in a redirect in Apache
I will try that.
Thanks a lot!
