Would having my Plex Samsung TV app set to allow insecure connections on the local network be a potential cause? From what I understand you HAVE to have that setting or nothing will work on the TV app.

I don’t think so but also that setting should not have to be disabled unless for some reason you cannot claim your server or sign into app
