So I have a Plex Pass and have set it on my tv that 3 trailers play before each movie from upcoming films and unwatched films in my library, I also have it set the same on the web client. This was working great and felt like being at the cinema until a few weeks ago (probably at the time of the update) and now when I play a film it gets stuck on the three dots and then says there’s been an error, I can skip the trailers and it plays the film and obviously I can turn them off but I don’t understand why it’s started doing this. There has been no changes with any thing else on any systems or my internet. It’s the only reason I wanted the Pass and if it doesn’t work anymore I don’t want to be paying for it! Can anyone help?
I have several Android devices with Plex installed and the trailers before movies has never worked for me on any of them. It’s been like that for years. Sometimes I get an error, sometimes it just stays on the loading screen. The “play trailer” button on any given movie page works fine though. I’ve made a post about it to no avail.
