Trailers unavailable after watching

After thorough investigation I still have no clue how this is possible.

Even when I hard set the AppleTV to the Plexconnect DNS, it still at times goes to the real trailers app.

Plexconnect is running fine, including dns but for some reason the ATV3 goes to trailers.apple.com (the real one).

I even removed certificate, reinstalled it but still.... i get the real apple trailers app :(

Really? I get's re-routed to the REAL trailers?

Is it any special circumstances? Or always after watching a long movie/having PlexConnect idle for a while?

same here with PMS v0.9.9.0.308 on Synology NAS (Intel) and latest git sources for PlexConnect

Most of the times its when we just turn on the Appletv and go to trailers we instantly get the trailers app.

Then after some time we might or might not get Plexconnect suddenly.

This sometimes also happens after watching a few tv shows. It is so random that I have no idea where this is coming from, nor how it could be possible since even on my router i hard set trailers.apple.com to go to plexconnect.

Do you switch DNS back and forth between manual (PlexConnect) and automatic?

I am asking as recently I had my aTV running on std. DNS, looking into trailers. After resetting it to manual plus changing the address, original trailers nav bar was still available. I guess application.js/the nav bar XML was still cached somewhere. Having no connection, it couldn't populate the real trailers, though.

Rebooting the aTV helped. But it doesn't sound like this is what your are experiencing...

I have given up for now (sorry) and bought a GTV instead which has a native plex app.
