Let’s take Death Note, for instance.
Plex has the show matched as the anime series. All the episodes are showing the right information, and all the art is correct.
Trakt is showing me as having watched the live action series. The Trakt entry appears to have the correct info for the live action show, and points to the correct TVDB entry for the live action show.
How do I fix the scrobbling? This has happened with a couple other similarly named shows.
There are also other posts on the Trakt forums with the same issue.
Nobody at Plex has even heard of Trakt. So I really wouldn’t hold your breath for a resolution at this end.
(Put another way that’s your fault for using Trakt.)
Hopefully it’s something the Trakt dev may be able to fix but right now he is pretty busy with porting Trakt from tvdb to tmdb I think.
I’m assuming you have upgraded to the new tv scanner agent?
Rolling back and refreshing metadata fixes it.
