I have been using Plex on my media centre machine for almost a year and a week or so ago Plex has stopped being able to record all shows and is no longer able to play TV streams. Playing of pre-recorded files is fine and I have successfully streamed / trans-coded over the internet of media on the server.
I have checked the tuner and it still works fine when using Win-TV, but I have also tried restarting the machine a number of times, changing the tuners USB port (Hauppauge Twin HD Tuner) and upgrading Plex to the latest version (and beta version) to no avail.
I attach my log files which I don’t understand where to find information on this specific problem. I have also tried searching the forum and Google for this issue to only find older posts or posts where upgrading the server has corrected the issue.
Missing out on quite a lot of my favourite shows and its a bit disappointing when Plex breaks for no reason.
I also find the generic error symbol on record items very uninformative.
I would really appreciate any help in getting Plex to work again as it has for many months. The only thing I haven’t done is reinstall Plex which ill do if there is no other simple fix.
