Plex on Amazon Fire Tablet will play live tv for almost exactly 5 minutes and then it gets into a repeating loop where it buffers a second and then plays the same several seconds over and over. I also notice that the transcoder all of a sudden starts using WAY more bandwidth then it is even configured for. The tablet is set for 720p 3Mbps which is maintains for about five minutes. Once it hits the loop it jumps up to 20-50Mbps. See below bandwidth from dashboard. It starts spiking when it gets into this loop.
This problem seems to have appears several Android versions ago. It doesn’t appear to matter what quality I have selected on the Fire tablet; tried original, 1080p, 720p at various bandwidths. All exhibit same behavior.
All other media seems to play fine on the Fire tablet. All other players are playing live tv just fine; Roku x4, iPhone, web.
Logs are attached. I peaked at them but didn’t see much, but I’m no log expert.
