I’m wondering what kind of CPU usage others are getting when Plex is doing background transcodes such as Media Optimizations. When I run top on my 16 core server I never see the CPU usage go over 900% (about 56% CPU usage) and not a single core hits 100%. Is this expected? I’d love to be able get Plex to use all cores full bore during background transcodes (Media Optimizations and Syncs) if possible.
