<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>I am using a GMKtec NucBox M2 Plus with a 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900HK processor with 14 cores and 20 logical processors. 32GB ram.
When watching 4k content if I torn on subtitles the video is downgraded to 1080p. If I turn subtitles off it returns to 4k.
The video card in the server is just the built-in Intel Iris Xe graphics. It does not matter if hardware transcoding is on or off. It also does not matter if the Plex client is the one in my Roku box or the one in my LG C1 tv.
I also have Plex Pass.
Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks very much.
Edit: If I turn off HDR tone mapping it stays in 4K HDR output. When I turn tone mapping back on the output drops to 1080p.
