Plex Media Server Logs_2023-10-06_03-20-08.zip (5.2 MB)

It won’t play any file with E-AC3 Audio and just throws out a generic error message after a couple of seconds. Everything else works fine.

Oct 06, 2023 03:15:31.518 [140180370172728] ERROR - [Notify] Failed to add watch for "/volume1/Serien1/TVShows/Euphoria/Euphoria.S02E06.Du.machst.mir.Angst.German.DD51.Synced.DL.1080p.AmazonHD.AVC-TVS" (28: No space left on device)

You have exceeded the number of folders that Linux can monitor.

See FAQ 16: Increase the number of folders Plex can monitor.

Fix the problem, reboot the NAS, then see if the phone will play EAC3.

Glad it fixed things.

My Pixel 6a updated to Android 14 overnight. I’ve only played a couple of movies/episodes, but so far things are working OK.

FYI, the error can also prevent Plex Media Server from adding new files to your libraries.

Plex should have scanned your libraries when you restarted the NAS, but you might manually scan them just to make sure.

To scan all libraries, in Plex Web, select “More >”, then three dots to right of server name.
