Transcoding Failing After PMS update

Server Version#: 1.41.6.9685

On Linux… HW transcoding was working fine and confirmed by rolling back Plex VM. Updated to 1.41.6.9685 from 1.41.5.9522 and now I’m getting the following error in logs.

I can roll back and try again but I’d like to understand before wasting the time

try deleting your Codecs folder and see if that fixes your problem. Restart PMS after.

deleted “Codecs”
restart… checked that “Codecs” had reappeared…
started playback with direct play… SUCCESS

Switch to forced transcode via lower res/bandwidth… FAIL (same error)

Need details and server DEBUG logs which capture this.

Which CPU, GPU, Distro/OS (outside and inside the VM)

If external GPU, how is external GPU passed in ?
