Transcoding Issues on Synology 920+

Server Version#:4.43.4 (Synology 920+)
Player Version#: 7.7 Apple TV 4k

I am having issues playing back content smoothly via any remote clients trying to access my Plex server. Locally via direct play or direct stream everything plays fine, but any remote play that requires transcoding of any kind just freezes or is extremely choppy. This is happening with 720p & 1080p files. I have not attempted any 4k files.

I have tried the H.256 Nas Plex driver fix, but this has not corrected the issue.

I am at a loss at this point as to what the issue could be. Any ideas?

Right now, your logs are showing PMS going through your media and creating chapter images (BIF files) and the other stages of media ingestion.

That said, Are there any limitations set in the remote settings which differ from what you have in your local player settings?

My playback settings are

Automatically adjust quality (Beta)- Not selected

Internet Streaming

Video quality: Maximum

Play smaller videos at original quality is selected.

do you have the J4xxx (ihd) driver bypass set, which is currently required for all J4xxx CPUs ?

Yes I have made this change. Is there any way to verify this? I believe I did it correctly.

I think I may have fixed the problem by re-entering the bypass. Remote seems to be working now. Still curious f there is a way to verify that the bypass is working?
