I am running into a problem where my Synology 920+ is saying that my server is not powerful enough or that there is an error when trying to play a file. It seems to happen when a file needs to be transcoded… I have been looking for an answer and cant seem to find anything.
I think the TIP “Increase the number of directories Linux can monitor (inotify) for PMS” might be able to help… but I am having problems in how to actually do it. Is there anyone that could assist me in doing this?
If this tip is outdated i’m sorry to takin up your time…but its the only thing that I have found that I believe might fix my problem.
Done. I attached the logs here. I played one file on my phone (not connected to my wifi) and it came up with the “An error occurred while attempting to play this vid”. Then played a second file from my computer (which is connected to my wifi network) and that one said “Server is not powerful enough”. both XML info is below… Thanks in advance

I had the debug on the Plex Web on before… but turned it off since you said to have debug logging only, in settings>server
This error was the one that says “the server is not powerful enough” from my computer on the same network.

I had tried this before, and it took my plex completely offline when not with in my network. I have since gotten a new router. So, I will try it again and then post my logs again. I will do this tomorrow. I am in Korea and its getting late. Thank you for you assistance this evening… and hopefully we will chat again tomorrow.
