Transcoding on Ubuntu 22.04 with NVidia drivers newer than 535

Hi,
I’ve seen a few topics of this nature but without any real resolution.

I’ve been running Ubuntu 22.04 with a Quadro P600 and the Nvidia driver version 535 for a long time now. It runs perfectly, transcodes like a demon.

I recently had to upgrade the driver version > 545 to support another system I run (immich, not that it matters) and immediately transcoding started crashing. I’ve tried 545, 550, 570 and 575. ffmpeg “blips” in nvtop, and Plex reports the Transcode runner died.

I’ve also tried the new transcoder build with the same results.

In the attached example, I set my mobile phone to use a maximum resolution of 720P before starting the movie to ensure the transcoder was in use.

Any help is appreciated. If all else fails I’ll be back on 535 and immich can use my CPU instead. Sure would be nice to get it all working together though.
