You can only have one Plex server installation on the same pc.
Please describe a little bit more verbosely what you are trying to achieve.
I have reset my Windows, so I re-instal Plex media serveur, name it with the same as the old one, and expect to something good happen. But Plex consider the new server as an other one and I don’t know how can I do to recover my old one on my new Windows. Did you have an idea at my problem ?

If you don’t have a backup copy of your media files and of your Plex data folder, you won’t get your old libraries back.
Ok so I got my media, but for the Plex data folder I don’t really know. Because the link said that it’s originally placed in the local disc (the one I reset) but on the old server I have moved the cache file in on an other disc who still contain all his data. There is an hope or all things had to be redone (like mark the movies I’ve already seen … ) ?
Well then you practically have a backup of your Plex data folder.
Is the case big enough so you can add the old hard drive in there as well? This’d be a good way.
Then you’d only need to tell Plex where to look for the data folder.
