TRIAX Tuner on Shield not recognized - but same Win-based PMS Version does recognize it

Hello Plex, hello User!

I’d like to share my experience as follows and ask you for help or at least an idea how to go on.

I have a Win7 PC running PMS 1.13.9.5349 with IPSAT TRIAX TSS400 MKII running and fully recognized.

When I try so setup LiveTV on my Shield (same PMS Version), it DOESN’t recognize the IP-based Tuner.

What I’ve checked so far:

  • Installed MosaicTV, which finds the TRIAX at first attempt. Setup was easy. TV does work.
  • Installed an old 2017 prototype apk of TVHeadend on the shield and TRIAX again was recognized. But setup is to complex for me to make use of it.

Could there be a specific Android/Shield issue, that prevents PMS on the Shield recognizing the TRIAX?

Does anybody already have this scenario of “TRIAX+Shield+PMS” up and running?

Any hint or help is much appreciated.
