Tried to move server, signed out, can't sign back in

Server Version#: Docker latest
Player Version#: 4.87.2

As the topic says, I am in the process of trying to move my Plex server, and as part of it I logged out on the new server, but that wound up logging me out on the old server and now, when I go to try and get the old server back up and running since the new server was refusing to show up, I can’t get either one to appear in the Devices option.

I only have the old server running, I’ve removed the plex claim variable and yet I still don’t have the option to access the old server and claim it to my account. I’m not sure what’s going on, or why, but this is very frustrating.

EDIT: I cleared the Preferences.xml file and went to the IP, and now I’m being greeted with the “You are not authorized” error message when hitting the /setup URL.

You can run this from inside or outside your docker container.
In both cases, PMS must be stopped.

If running from outside the container, the -p command line option tells the utility where Preferences.xml is.

Thanks ChuckPa. I was able to fix my issue by deleting a few of the entries in the Preferences.xml file and restarting the server, which allowed me to access everything again. I’ll definitely keep this in mind though if/when I do this again in the future, because I’m sure something will come up and make me want to do this.
