Trouble with Android Auto

Dear all,

I run a Plex server on a RPi3+ based on Home Assistant. For security reasons, I only use the indirect mode (relay) in order to keep my firewall closed.

I am a frequent Android Auto user, but I have issues both with the Plex app ass well as Plexamp when used on the car’s screen:

While the Plex app only sometimes fails to find any music, the Plexamp app never is able to play music in the car. Interestingly, as soon as I pull the cable and switch to the Android Auto mode on the phone, the music stars to play (even to the car via Bluetooth).

Is there any recommendation? Is just bought a lifetime license and now I am a bit unhappy that my music is not playing in the car…

I use the latest Plex Server (Version 1.22.3.4392) and PlexAmp (3.4.4) on HASS.IO (which is basically a Raspberry Pi OS, Linux kernel 5.4)…
