I am new here and just installed the Plex on my PS4 and PC as media server. I am stumped!!!!! Here is a few things I have done.
-Installed configured port forward on AT&T Uverse NVG589 modem as a service TCP32400 to 192.168.1.x
-Installed Plex on PS4 pin shows activated on PC but on PS4 shows "No media servers found
-Plex Media Server running on PC but only issue was it shows as signed in with email but unable to reach it from outside.
I dont really care about the outside access as I just want to stream from my PC. PS4 running hardwired to switch directly to Motorola NVG589 and assigned a static IP on PS4 aswell as PC. I have a Asus wireless router TM-AC1900 which I have a ps3 connected wirelessly and it does not have static IP but can view Plex as a media server and play my content.
Listed under devices on Plex web app it shows my PC (Plex Media Server), Plex Web I.E., Chrome, Plex for Sony etc.
Neither PS3/PS4 would connect to server even though it shows connected on PC but on consoles shows No media servers found.
