My new Nvidia Shield TV Pro won’t play content with TrueHD 7.1, it’s just buffering. I have zero issues with TrueHD 7.1 on Emby, and everything else always working fine on Plex except for TrueHD.
I’m not using any receiver or similar, it’s straight to my Samsung TV… I’ve seen old threads where others say they had the same problem, but it’s apparently been fixed. But not for me. I’m on the latest Nvidia Shield firmware and I’ve been using the latest public build for Plex. And I’ve tried two older beta builds that people said would stream TrueHD without issues, but I had the same exact problems.
Any suggested solutions?
Edit : Want to add that there’s no transcoding going on, it’s direct play.
